Brother verses Sister Combat XXVIII by Buzz Haywood buzzhaywood@yahoo.com Beat Down Pittman Pike is now at 2,298-0. 440 matches, Lauren with 434, and me with 6. You can now reach Lauren as well at laurenhaywood75@yahoo.com John Cunnings was in deep debt. There was nothing he could do about it. And there was also the mystery of the man who was our World Heavyweight Champion. Pitman Pike. Why was he so vocal and critical of Lauren? Before we knew it, Pike's record was up to 3,000-0 and Lauren and I were still living comfortably on John the Moron's money. He was still recuperating. John vowed to get even with Lauren. Months later when Pike was 3,100-0 John Cunnings felt he was ready to wrestle Lauren for the remainder of his money against his hair. They re-entered the ring. John was angry. He charged at my sister. But she tripped him down. Lauren lifted him up and executed the Death Valley Driver on him. She then pinned him, 1-2-3! Now she shaved his head. John was in so much pain that he didn't even fight it. She continued to shave and scrape his head until his head was just skin. Pike showed up and called John a disgrace. Eventually a match was signed between Pike and Cunnings. A non-title match, because Pike felt John didn't deserve a championship one. Pike crushed Cunnings in a little over 30 seconds. That was win number 3,198 for him. Later on Cunnings said Pike doesn't have the guts to give him a title shot. Pike called him a fool. So they signed for a title match. By the time the match took place, Pike was 3,278-0. One minute later, Pike was 3,279-0. While celebrating his 4,000th win, the interviewer asked Pike straight out what his problem with Lauren was. "She's a woman who is getting too cocky for her own good," Pike said, "and she needs to be put in her place." Next week I defended her honor. Pike had become 4,020-0. I confronted him. So, I challenged him to a match for the title. Bad move on my part. This was like wrestling The Incredible Hulk. You can't really appreciate the strength and power of a man like Pittman Pike unless you've been in the ring with him. When the smoke cleared, Pike was 4,021-0. Weeks later John Cunnings left town. He had enough. Lauren was grateful to me for standing up for her. When World Champion Pike got his record up to 4,058, he was still trash-talking Lauren. All of a sudden, she challenged him to a match. It was made into a non-title match. By the time the match took place, Pike was 4,080-0. The bell rang. This would be my sister's toughest match ever. Lauren attempted to use her speed to take Pike down, but then he just shoves her down to the mat. He laughed at her, but she quickly got up. Then she drop kicked him, but Pike didn't budge. So she did it again. Still nothing. Pike then took her down with a shoulder block. Then he body slammed her. Pike went for an elbow drop, but my sis moved out of the way. She got back to her feet and began kicking and stomping Pike. She leg dropped him. And then she elbow dropped him. She began working on his legs. If the monster can't stand, he can't do any further damage. Now she put the figure four leg lock on. Pike just turned it around. Lauren struggled to grab the ropes. She fought and fought. Got it! Pike had to release. Pike pulled her by the hair, but she punched him with a closed fist. The ref kept warning her, but she kept punching him with those closed fists. Then she swung back and punched him so hard that he fell on his rear end. The referee called for the bell and disqualified her. Yes, Pike was now 4,081-0 now, but Lauren survived longer than most men have against him. Even though Pike came away with the DQ win, he was filled with rage. Pike was embarassed.
