At this point Pittman Pike is 2,198-0 and still VWA World Heavyweight Champion. There were nights when Pike would take on ten opponents per day. John C. was still fuming over his humiliation. One night Lauren was involved in the Ultimate Women's Wrestling Tournament. In the qualifying matches, Lauren defeated Shannon Gold, a top ranked woman wrestler in 5:34, then my sister beat Annie in 5:35 to qualify. Then in her first round tournament match, Lauren took on and scored a win against Aqua Ali in 5:38. Then in the second round, Lauren took on and beat Trixie at 5:44. Then Lauren won her third round match against Jessica Garner in 5:50. Now at the fourth round of the tournament. Lauren wrestled and defeated Alicia Applegate in 5:58. Now there would be a best of seven to determine the final round. She'd be squaring off against Amy Bell. In the first fall, Lauren won in 6:08. Then in the second fall, Lauren pinned her at the 6:11 mark. Lauren was getting tired. In the third fall, Lauren defeated her by submission in 6:26. Luckilly for Lauren, at the 6:59 mark, Lauren used a victory roll to end it. As a surprise, women's wrestling legend, "Superstar" Susan Sexton showed up to congratulate Lauren. It was stated at a later date they'd wrestle. Suddenly, John C came out. "Hey Lauren, why don't you wrestle her now?" he asked. "I'm tired, genius," she replied. Jonh took out $500 cash. "If you can beat Miss Sexton, it's all yours." Lauren agreed, as did Sexton. It was a terrific match. I couldn't beleve this. Lauren scored the surprise pin at 7:00. John was stunned. Sexton shook hands with my sister and gave her the trophy. Suddenly, Madusa came out to congratulate Lauren. John had an idea. He took out the last of his cash, $588.96 and insisted Lauren and Madusa have a 2 out of 3 falls match. They both agreed. In the first fall Lauren defeated the legendary Madusa in 7:38 by pin. Then in the second fall, she shocked the audience by making her tap out. John was out of cash. Lauren and Madusa shook hands and hugged. John was out of his mind with anger. "OK Lauren, what about wrestling me now?" asked John C. "I'm exhausted," she replied. So he pulled out a check and made it out for $1,000. "This verses what you already won from me," John challenged. She accepted. The bell rang. Lauren pounded him and pounded him with fists of fury. She threw him around the ring. Lauren drop kicked John and he fell out of the ring. The assault continued after he returned inside of the ring. She gave him a piledriver. 1... 2... shoulder! So Lauren placed him on the top rope. Frankensteiner! 1... 2... she pulled him up. Lauren tombstoned him and placed one foot on his chest. 1... 2... she removed her foot. She body slammed him. Next she power bombed him. With one hand on his chest she pinned him, 1-2-3! Lauren celebrated while officials checked on John C. The match went to the 7:54 mark. Pike actually entered the ring to check on John C. What could the 2,208-0 possibly want with that creep? Only time would tell I guess.
