THE NYLON MOB By Vasilios Strange things are happening. e-mail: fredster8802@yahoo.com . Chapter 5 Strange things were happening around town. The men who ran the underworld were getting in to weird situations. Up until now these guys had a strong grip on things. But now talk was beginning. Was there a changing of the guard taking place?. Through out the coffee shops, bars and other gathering places this was becoming the major topic of discussion. Bill the publisher of the town's main newspaper was getting wind of things. He was hearing the talk and getting e-mail tips on a new story. His interest was peeking. He called one of his reporters in to his office. She is Linda S.. Linda had been with the paper for several years and had developed good sources. He gave some back ground info on what he was hearing. Some Women were beating and humiliating the mobsters. Somebody is taking these guys on. Go out on the street and see what you can find out. Linda dutifully took her assignment. This will be interesting she thought to herself. Her first stop was the police department, OCCB. She asked her source about what she was hearing about the mob. There were rumors about some of the men being beaten and humiliated. He only told her what was known to the public. The men were leashed with pantyhose and the boss had his manhood covered in a knee high nylon stocking. Beyond that, there was nothing more to say. Linda continued her on the trail of her sources. Nobody gave her any real information as to what was going on. Her first stop in the field was at the fish market where a beating occurred. She had hear from people around town that the mob boss who ran the rackets along with his men were beaten and hauled out in to the open. First she walked around the loading docks and asked around. Walking from dock to dock asking questions and got no information. She realized that the beating must have been true, for the men she talked to clamed up when asked abut it. Linda then walked in to the area where the boss held court. When she entered the room all the men stood up, not as a mater of respect but at attention. She introduce her self as a reporter and began to ask questions. None of the men seemed to know what she was talking about. Linda was shocked at how they reacted when she walked in. But she thanked them for their time and left. Linda then went over tote offices of GCC. When she walked in the receptionist greeted her with a big smile, not just a friendly smile but one of joy. She asked for Vito. Luckily for him, he was not in the office. Linda then went over to the construction site where then men where shown to the public. Again nobody would talk about what had happened. Everybody would clam up when asked about the incident. Next stop was the high school. Linda had heard about the football players. Chris S. was on vacation that day, so Linda was not able to interview her. One thing she did notice, was when the girls would walk down the hall, the boys would move out of their way. How funny she thought. Linda reported back to Bill what she had discovered. Both were really perplexed at the response to Linda's questions. He told her to stay on the story for a few more days to see what develops. Things were changing in town, but few really knew what was happening. Feminine power was beginning to take over and a nylon noose was beginning to circle the manhood of the men running the rackets.
