Brother verses Sister Combat XIII by Buzz Haywood buzzhaywood@yahoo.com A New Beginning with Action Continues After 316 matches, with me having 6 and Lauren having 310, we were now a good team. Drake and Alexis now were the ones who wanted to get momentum leading into our match. They took a string of matches with open challenges. It wasn't long before the challenges were exepted. Drake and Alexis took on a high-flying, electryfying duo, who were both male. The Thunder Hawks. Lionel Klein and Lloyd Sanford. Drake and Alexis weren't nervous at all. 11-22-## Atascadero, California. Drake started off the match against Lionel. The brother-sister duo were fighting for the pride of the Alcon family. Drake was always impressed by the athletic ablilities of the Thunder Hawks. While Drake was trapped in an arm-bar, Lloyd was tagged in. After Lloyd worked on Drake he tagged Lionel back in. Drake was finally able to tag in Alexis. Lionel didn't think Alexis could handle herself against him. Lionel was wrong. She was tossing Lionel all over the ring. Alexis even suplexed Lionel. She was on target with her drop kicks on him. When Lloyd was in, he wasn't too confident. He was worried about having Alexis show him up. So, he decided to rush her, but she clotheslined him. After she body slammed him, she tagged out to Drake. Lloyd was glad about that. Drake and Lloyd went chop for chop. But after Alexis was tagged back in, Lloyd wasted no time tagging Lionel back in to avoid any further humiliation from her. Lionel attempted to stay one step ahead of Alexis, but that didn't work. After she snapmared him, she surprised him with a sunset flip for the 1-2-3! After the match, Lionel Klein was embarrassed. Lloyd told him it was okay, but Lionel disagreed. "no, Lloyd, it wasn't you who got pinned by Alexis," Lionel said, "if Drake was the one to pin me, I'd be able to handle that." "I underestimated her too, and I was wrong, we both were," Lloyd added. "But, we won't make that same mistake again," said Lionel. Atherton, California; 11-27-$$ Lionel studied Alexis as she and Drake took on another brother-sister duo. Drake pinned the bro partner, but Alexis still owned both opponents in the match. One day he planned to challenger her to a singles match. Until then, he had an idea. Atwater, California 11-30-$$ there was a fundraiser for a worthy charity. Drake and Alexis took on another bro-sis team. Alexis made the sis opponent tap out. Lionel entered the ring and congratulated both teams. Lionel: Let's hear it for the Alcon siblings! As you all know, we have a charity tonight and we have one tomorrow in Auburn, California. I figure, everybody including me wants to see The Antons and The Haywoods collide. All four are outstanding wrestlers. But, Lauren and Buzz have wrestled each other so many times. Drake and Lauren haven't. I figure, before their schedulled match against our favorite Canadian siblings, I'll donate a $50 just for Drake and Alexis to wrestle. But, if she can pull a Lauren Haywood and defeat her big brother I'll donate an extra $50. Suddenly, a neighborhood spectator chimed in. "No you see here, Drake would win, he's stronger, I'll match your $100 only if somehow Drake loses." "Agreed!" said Lionel. A business man agreed to donate $100 to the charity for every minute Lauren lasts in the ring with Drake. The fans looked at Drake and Alexis for a response. "Sis, it's charity, and it's the season to give, so I accept," Drake said. "I agree big brother, and I too, big brother," Alexis said. And so it was done. Lionel had to know. Was she good enough to beat Drake? If she wasn't, then in their eventual singles match, he should have no problems. But, if she did win, he'd have to work harder. Drake knew he wasn't me. And he knew Alexis was not Lauren. He was actually looking forward to this. Alexis, on the other hand, knew she had everything to gain and nothing to lose. If she won, it would be looked upon as an upset. It would make her career. But would it end his? Plus, it would really help out the charity. Lauren and I found out about this later on that night and immediately made plans to attend the event. How would fans react to another brother-sister encounter? The morning of the event, we called up both Drake and Alexis and wished them luck. Me, Annie, Lauren, and Randal all decided to spend the day in Auburn. The four of us had recently spent Thanksgiving together. The four of us had become a team. Family was extremely important to all four of us. Our careers meant just as much.
