SEWF Wrestlers Face Japanese Competition elliebi001@yahoo.com Dee and Ellie travel to Japan to face two tough wrestlers in a rough tag-team match. As always, your comments will be greatly appreciated. Good evening America. Welcome to the latest SouthEast Wrestling Federation Friday night pay-per-view telecast. This is Nathan Detroit, the voice of the SEWF and this week we're in Tokyo at the Tokyo Dome, or the Big Egg as it's been known here. Tonight we have a great many different matches, from mixed tag-team to women's tag-team to a men's championship match. There's one women's tag-team match that will have most SEWF fans scratching their heads in disbelief. But we'll get to that later. (An hour later) We're back from the sponsors and this next match should be very interesting on many levels. It pits the team of Mayumi Ozaki and Kyoko Kimura against the SEWF dynamos, Dee Martin and Ellie Persons. If all that sounds strange, that's because it is. Both Kimura and Ozaki have had some memorable hardcore battles during their long and illustrious careers. And all SEWF fans know about the great love the Martins and Persons have for each other. I'm not sure who will end up with whom at the end of this match. But it's time for the announcer to introduce the wrestlers. (Announcer in Japanese introduces the Americans, Dee Martin and Ellie Persons) The crowd cheers a little and some boo the two. They acknowledge the crowd and wave at the fans. They begin stretching and loosening up, pulling on the ropes and jumping on their toes. Dee wears a modest spandex two-piece in blue and red with a blue top and red briefs. She wears her normal tall patent leather black boots with gold laces. Ellie wears a silver and red leotard and short, black boots. Both look ready for this battle. (Announcer brings out the Japanese team, Kyoko Kimura and Mayumi Ozaki) the crowd goes crazy cheering for their favorites and shower the ring with color-ful streamers as they step out from their corner and wave to the fans. The attendants scurry around picking up the streamers. Kimura wears a black, two-piece with the top having the Jamaican flag motif and the briefs in the black, green, and gold colors of the same flag. Ozaki wears her normal camouflage shorts and black t-shirt. She carries her trademark chain and collar with her and holds them up to make sure Dee and Ellie see it. The ref calls them to the center for instructions. Dee has fought here and at home against Manami Toyota and other Japanese wrestlers so she knows what will probably happen. Ellie has never fought them and could be in for a big lesson in wrestling and brawling. Who is this heavy-set man walking around the ring? He looks a bit dangerous. He's wearing all black with "POLICE" written across the back of his shirt. Oh, okay, thank you; I was just told by a Japanese announcer that he is Mayumi's personal attendant who always interferes. He hangs around ringside looking for trouble. This could be a lot more than what either Dee or Ellie bargained for. There's the bell. Dee comes out to face Kimura and they quickly lock up with the bigger Kimura pushing Dee into the ropes. The ref doesn't seem to be in a hurry to break it and Kimura holds her against the ropes, but unable to do much. Dee has her in a tight collar and elbow, making it hard for Kimura to move into anything. There's a quick move and Dee has Kimura's left arm in an armbar, twisting it in a forward motion to get Kimura flipping forward onto her back. Kimura reaches for the ropes and it looks like, wow, what a kick! Dee lands a hard kick to Kimura's ribs and the young girl drops to one knee, wincing in pain. Dee holds onto the arm and it looks like the plan is to keep it slow with a lot of painful holds. The Japanese wrestlers love fast action and a lot of movement, off the ropes, out on the floor, most anywhere. But Dee and Ellie want to slow it up and keep them hurting. Kimura keeps reaching for the ropes and can't get to them. The sweat is pouring over her face and it has to burn her eyes. Hey, Ozaki just ran in a kicked Dee's back. Dee fell against the ropes and Kimura managed to get free and tag Ozaki. Ellie's yelling at the ref, but he didn't say a thing to anyone. Ozaki moves to Dee and grabs her hair. Great! there's a fist to Ozaki's belly and she backs off. Now Dee is ready for her and moves towards her like she wants blood. Kimura throws the chain to Ozaki and she quickly tries to whip it around Dee's waist. But she catches the chain and hangs on, pulling Ozaki toward her and clotheslining her. Man, that's gotta hurt! Dee grabs her hair and pulls her into a side headlock and parades her around the ring. This isn't a good idea, showing up your opponent in Japan. There's a hip toss and she's got Ozaki down and really twisting the head and neck. There's more of the slow and painful tactic the American wrestlers are using. Ozaki tries to kick out and maybe get to the ropes, Dee has her tight and keeps her centered in the ring. The ref checks for a choke but there's nothing. He goes over to Kimura to tell her not to lean into the ring and Dee slams a fist into Ozaki's forehead and quickly rakes her eyes. Ozaki's stamping her feet, but the ref missed it. Dee looks around and sees Ellie yelling and waving her arms, pointing to a corner where Police is on the apron ready to come in. The ref goes over and tells him to get down and Dee slams another fist into Ozaki's forehead and clamps a hand around the throat. Ozaki's really suffering with this headlock and tries desperately to get to the ropes. Hey, here comes Police running in and kicking Dee in the chest and runs right out. That caught Dee way off guard and she's hurt, clutching her chest, rolling around the mat. Ellie's trying to reach way in to tag, but Dee doesn't see her. Ozaki tags Kimura who runs in ans quickly pulls up Dee by the hair and whips her across the ring and off the ropes. As Dee bounces off, Kimura runs at her and drives a knee deep into Dee's belly, dropping her like a sack of rocks. Kimura pulls her up again and bending her forward, loops her arms under Dee's and lifts her for a chicken-wing suplex. She has her up and over, no wait, she's falling forward with Dee landing face and chest first and Kimura on top. Oh god, the groan out of Dee sounded like it's over. Kimura rolls her over and hooking a leg goes for the pin. Dee manages to lift a shoulder, but I sure don't know how. Kimura pulls her into a sitting position and standing in front of her, drives a foot into her chest, knocking her backward and nearly out. Dee's rubbing her chest and to help her recover, Kimura stands on her forehead before getting pushed off by the ref. This match took a quick turn. Kimura stands over Dee and hauls her up by her hair and left arm, whips her into the corner where Ozaki's boot is waiting. Oh my, That boot kicked Dee square in the face, sending her down and maybe out. Kimura picks her up again and grabbing her hair, slams her face and forehead into the turnbuckle several times. Now Police joins in and holds Dee's head over the top rope choking her while Kimura and Ozaki take turns driving knees into her belly. Dee is barely standing, her arms hanging limp. The ref looks like he's trying to break it, but, hold on, here comes Ellie. Ooooh, she drove a shoulder into Ozaki sending her into the corner and down. Police released Dee and comes into the ring, only to get a vicious chop across the throat. Kimura now has Dee, but a forearm to her chest sends her into the ropes and Ellie takes Dee back to their corner and makes the tag. The ref is trying to say something, but it looks too late. Ellie has Kimura up in a bodyslam and slams her hard into the mat. A quick kick to the ribs and Kimura goes up again and this time Ellie runs her into their corner, slamming her back into the top turnbuckle. Dee is alert enough to grab Kimura's legs and wrap them around the ringpost cable. Ellie steps back and drives a good dropkick to Kimura's chest. One of her legs gets free and just flops over the top rope, her left leg still caught in the cable. The ref finally gets her free and Kimura tries to stand, but Ellie takes her hair and slams her head into the middle turnbuckle while Dee presses her left foot against Kimura's head, mashing it against the turnbuckle and rope. The look on Kimura's face is one of almost complete defeat. She looks about done. But here comes Ozaki. She tackles Ellie and drives her into the corner while Dee comes through the ropes to help. But Police grabs Dee's suit and pulls her back out. Wow, he's got that suit pulled into a wedgie, really showing off Dee's assets. He hurls her off the apron and she lands on the floor, falling with her right shoulder landing against the steel barrier. Police jumps off the apron and lands with both feet on Dee's belly. That could break or at least crack ribs. He pulls her up and throws her against the barriers again and then runs her into them and over. God, she's spread out on the floor with one leg on a chair, barely able to move. And to put the finishing move to her, he slams a chair across Dee's back while she's spread-eagled face down. The ring attendants run to her aid. In the ring, Ozaki and now Kimura have Ellie tied up in the corner, pounding her with kicks to her belly and chest. She's down and nearly out in the corner, slumping against the ropes. Her face says it all; eyes glazed over and sweat pouring over her face; her hair stuck to her face. And here comes Kimura running across the ring and planting a boot into the side of Ellie's head. Ellie's head snaps to the right and then flops on her chest. Ozaki pulls her hair and holding her face right in front of her, slams a chain-covered fist into Ellie's forehead. And again and Ellie just lays in the corner limp, her arms hanging at her sides and blood dripping from the cut on her forehead. Ozaki laughs and wraps the dog collar around her neck and drags Ellie to the center of the ring. I don't know if she's aware of what's happening as Ozaki gets her ready. The ring attendants have finally gotten to Dee and helped her get up and stagger toward the steps. She's holding her ribs and is dazed and doesn't quite know where she's going. Meanwhile, Ozaki has dragged Ellie around the ring with that collar and now whips her into and over the top rope. She and Kimura have Ellie hanging over the top rope, the collar digging into her neck. She's kicking her legs trying to get to the apron for support, but can't. The ref is trying to take the chain away from Kimura and Ozaki, and Police is on the floor pounding on Ellie's gut with both fists. the ref gets the chain away and Ellie falls to the floor, gasping for air. Dee is with Ellie trying to help her up while Police is running at them with a chair. Watch out! Wow! What a great move by Dee. She dropkicked Police, driving that chair into his face. He dropped like a sack of rocks which should keep him quiet for a few minutes. He has blood dripping from a cut on his forehead. I don't know where she got the energy to dropkick him like that. Ellie has managed to get on the apron with the ref keeping the Japanese girls away. Both Dee and Ellie are up and Ellie steps back in to tag Dee. As she enters the ring, Ozaki runs at her, but Dee drops and rolls into Ozaki's legs, taking them out and dropping her face-first to the mat. Ellie quickly climbs to the top rope and jumps off with both feet landing hard on Ozaki's back. Dee pulls her up and slams her face into the turnbuckle several times before the ref stops it. Blood is coming from her upper lip and nose as Dee takes her to the center and lifts her in a fisherman suplex, dropping her head and neck first. There's the cover and 1..........2......., and she kicks out. Ozaki is one tough customer and hard to pin. Dee lifts her again and drops her again on her head and neck. Another cover, but Ozaki kicks out and Dee is very frustrated. That three-count is very elusive tonight. Dee pulls her up and whips Ozaki across the ring. As she comes off, Dee aims for a clothesline, but Ozaki rolls under it and gets to Kimura. There's the tag and she runs in after Dee. A quick lockup and Dee tries to move back toward her own corner. Kimura powers down on Dee and forces her to the mat. But Dee slips out and drives a fist into Kimura's belly. A second shot and Kimura slows up. bent at the waist. Dee grabs a handful of hair and drags her to Ellie. The Police just grabbed Ellie's left foot, but with a quick kick to his head, Ellie is free and Police is down rolling around the floor. Dee has Kimura trapped and begins driving a knee into her belly while Ellie jumps to the floor to tend to Police. A solid kick to his tender region really has him rolling and crying. Ellie climbs back up and grabs both of Kimura's hands and holds them tightly while Dee slaps her and then holds a foot against her throat. Ozaki runs in to rescue her partner, but Dee turns and spin kicks Ozaki dropping her like a rock. Dee tags Ellie who comes in, grabs Kimura's hair and drags her to the center. She then lifts her high for a bodyslam. Oh my, Kimura bounced high with that slam. She pulls her up again, Kimura's arms hanging limply while Ellie lifts her again and this time ends with a nasty sit-down slam. Kimura is barely moving and Ellie clamps on a sleeper hold. Kimura's afro haircut is all matted and stuck to her face. She looks pretty-much finished. Ellie's really got that sleeper on tight and Kimura is barely able to claw at Ellie's arms. She looks nearly out, but Ozaki is staggering around and trying to come at Ellie. Dee rushes in to hold her off and the ref, intently watching Kimura slowly go under, doesn't bother with the other two wrestlers. Dee has Ozaki against the ropes, one hand over her throat and a knee ramming her gut. She turns Ozaki and lays her throat across the top rope, pressing down hard. Dee then pulls back hard on the rope sending Ozaki flying backwards to the mat and flipping backwards onto her chest and face. We could have a twin pin here. The ref checks Kimura's reflexes and sees the arm drop twice. He lifts a third time and there it is, the arm fell with no resistance and he's ordered the bell rung. Ellie slowly releases Kimura and Dee has Ozaki up, driving one more knee deep into her gut and lets Ozaki sink to her knees and fall forward to the mat doubled over in pain. The American team of Dee Martin and Ellie Persons has beaten an outstanding Japanese tag team of Kyoko Kimura and Maymi Ozaki. Let's go to the announcer for the official announcement. (In japanese) "The winners at 19:37, the great team of Dee Martin and Ellie Persons." The crowd cheer the winners who wave back and hug in their corner, both winded from the grueling match. They walk to Ozaki and Kimura and hold up their hands to signify two very worthy opponents and a tough match. We'll have a word with the winners in a moment. We're back and with the winners of this very tough and nasty match. Congratulations girls, that was a very hard-fought match. Dee, "Thanks Nathan, yeah it was a tough one but we came through okay. Neither of us knew about this Police guy who's all over the place. We both had to dig deep and find the strength to keep going and finish the job. That's something neither of us had faced before, a fight this hard." Ellie, "Yeah, they were good and also nasty, but we were up to the challenge tonight. Well, Police won't bother us for a while and next time he'll need a cup." Do you think this match will help improve your abilities back home? Dee, "Yes, I do. We're both good and now we see where we can get a lot better as a team and also as opponents." Ellie, "I'll do a better job of taking her head off back home. Neither of us have ever fought a chain before; and don't want to again. But if she (pointing to Dee) ever uses a chain, I'll know what to do." Dee, "What about you and that stupid baseball bat you're always going on about? How would you like that crushing your throat?" Okay, calm down girls, you just finished a hard match, do you want another right now? Do you have many more matches here? Dee, "Yes, we have two more here in Tokyo, then on to Osaka for a few, and then Hiroshima and finally Sapporo. We'll return to Tokyo for our last two singles matches in three weeks and then back to Charlotte for singles matches. How will this affect your matches against each other? Dee, "It shouldn't; we'll still want to beat each other and will many more times. Our being a team has no bearing on how we feel about each other as people or as wrestlers. We want to be the best and will go through each other to get there." Ellie, "I couldn't say it any better. After Japan, I doubt if we'll eat out together. We want the titles and belts and we're in each other's way. And don't forget, there are others who also want those titles and belts. Thank you girls, I guess that's what makes the SEWF so much better than the other feds. Let's go to the next match. Author's note: the two Japanese wrestlers in this story are real. There was no disrespect meant in this story. We both think Mayumi Ozaki and Kyoko Kimura are superb wrestlers. Mayumi Ozaki has had an absolutely brilliant career and is a great asset to the history and traditions of Japanese wrestling and Kyoko Kimura will most likely continue that great tradition. The winners were determined by a coin toss before the story was started.
