Gymnast Neighbor, Part 1 By Fragilistic frag902@yahoo.co.uk A traditional story of friendship, love and broken bones Luke sat on his front porch reading a graphic novel and trying to cheer himself up. He was 16 years old, and his best friend, Michael, had recently moved to another town over 200 miles away. What was he supposed to do now during the summer recess? As he sat there, half reading, half daydreaming, a U-Haul truck and a blue sedan pulled up in the driveway of Michael's old house across the street. Oh great, thought Luke, the new neighbors are here already. Well he for one wasn't going to hang around and ... then he saw her, sitting in the back seat, about the same age as him, flawless complexion, soft brown eyes, dark brown shoulder length hair. He changed position on the porch to where he could get a better look. Mom and dad got out first, then the girl, wearing blue jeans and a pink jacket with a logo on the back, something about gymnastics, he couldn't make out the name clearly. They were laughing and joking as they walked up the drive and opened the front door, then disappeared out of site. Luke's heart was pounding so loud he thought it would explode. "Luke, take this over to the Stevens house will you please dear?" His mum called. "The whose house?" Luke asked, not interested in the least, and continuing to watch the tv. "The Stevens, you know, the new people who moved in across the street yesterday. It's a welcome basket, I made the jam and preserves myself." Luke picked the basket up without hesitation and tore across the street. "Well I never", exclaimed his mom, "must be a girl involved if I know Luke." "Come in, come in", Mrs Stevens said warmly. "Excuse the mess, we're still unpacking." Luke gave her the basket. "Oh what a lovely thought, please thank your mother for me." "My husband is out on an errand, but you must meet Alicia, she's upstairs in her room. Alicia dear, come down, we have a guest" she called. There was the sound of a door opening, and then footsteps on the wooden stairs. Alicia came down the stairs and stepped nimbly into the room. She was taller than he had expected, about 3 inches taller than his five foot six, so that she looked down on him even in her bare feet. She was wearing sweat pants and a baggy athletic top. "Alicia, this is Luke, he lives across the road, His mother made us this delightful basket." Alicia extended her hand and Luke shook it. Her grip was surprisingly firm for a girl and Luke got the feeling that she was holding back when she squeezed his hand. "Nice to meet you Luke", she beamed, making him feel warm and tingly all over. She was really pretty, stunning even, and Luke was uncharacteristically lost for words. "Um, yeah, likewise" he mumbled. Suddenly the summer wasn't looking like such a washout after all. They chose a local beauty spot known as Fells Peak, a winding, lazy trek up the mountain, which guaranteed a beautiful view on a clear day like today. Plus it was out of season so they were almost certain to have it all to themselves. Alicia completed the climb first, her strong legs powering her up the mountain. She looked back and yelled down to Luke. "Come on lazy bones, catch up." Jeeze, she didn't even look out of breath he thought, having just climbed steadily for the past hour and a half. Luke, by contrast, had needed to stop on several occasions to catch his breath and collapsed gratefully on the ground. "I'll spread the blankets, you start unpacking the food", she said to the boy laying prone in the soft autumnal grass. "Yeah, sure, just give me a minute", he wheezed. They spread two large blankets out on the grass and quickly unpacked the food and drink they had brought. Ham and turkey sandwiches, salad, eggs, pickles, bottled water and strawberries for desert. Both tucked in to the delicious spread, eating ravenously. After lunch they chatted and joked, sharing stories about their respective childhoods. Alicia's childhood was dominated by her parents desire for her to be a successful gymnast and she told Luke of the long hours of training she had to put in. Luke divulged his parents obsession for him to be academically brilliant and to have a career with a big law firm like his father. Alicia seemed to be really unburdening herself, telling Luke things about her that made him feel that she was really staring to trust him. After a while, he decided the time was right to ask her. "Alicia, there's something I've been meaning to ask you for a while, but I don't know how you'll react", Luke started. "Sure, anything, go ahead", she replied cheerily. "Well, it's just that we've known each other for a few months now, and I was wondering if, you know, maybe we could go out someplace together, like the movies?" "What, you mean, on a date?" Alicia asked, her tone suddenly cooler. "Yeah, why not?" Luke suggested. "I'll tell you why not, it's because I have to be real careful who I date," replied Alicia frostily. "You don't get it do you?" "Get what? That you're a gymnast? Sure, I understand, I know it's a big part of your life, and you have to train regularly, I can accept that." "It's not just that. I have to be careful. You could get hurt." "Don't worry about me, I've had relationships before, I know about splitting up and getting hurt". "That's not what I mean Luke. You could get physically hurt. I'm strong, really strong, and you're, well, kinda puny to be honest," she said looking at his skinny arms and legs. "I've been training since the age of 5" she continued, "that's 11 years, 6 days a week for 4 hours a day. What have you been doing for the past 11 years ? Playing video games by the look of it." Luke blushed. This wasn't going the way he had planned. "OK, so you're an athlete, and you're strong, but you're a girl and I'm a guy, and guys are stronger than girls," Luke said. "Boy, do you have a lot to learn", replied Alicia. "Let me tell you something. Most of the senior girls on the gym team have put a boy in hospital at some time or other, either with an over enthusiastic hug or play wrestling that got a bit too physical." Luke looked at her to see if she was having him on. Alicia didn't smile back. "So, maybe you're a little bit stronger than me, that's fine, I'm cool with that. I'm not one of these macho types with a huge ego. I think it would be great to have a girlfriend who could protect me", he joked. "Luke, I'm deadly serious. I'm not a little bit stronger than you. I'm much stronger than you, several times stronger in fact." "That's just crazy talk", Luke replied. "I'm serious, I would have to be really careful not to hurt you if we hugged for instance. Because of my strength I can't judge pressure real well. I could crush you accidentally. How would I explain that to your mom ?" Luke swallowed hard. She seemed persuasive, and he was starting to have doubts now. "I can see you're still not convinced. Look, I'll show you", she said, standing up. To his surprise Alicia removed her sweater. She was wearing a white lacy bra that struggled to contain her firm breasts. But it was her arms that Luke was staring at. He had never seen her bare arms before, she always covered them up. My God, they were huge. Thick and muscular, she had muscle on top of muscle. And she wasn't even flexing. Alicia knelt down beside him and flexed her right arm. He nearly lost it right there. A huge ridge of muscle appeared the like of which he had never seen before, especially on a girl this young and beautiful. "Feel it, go on, see if you can make a dent." Luke's trembling hand reached up and pressed the muscular peak, but he couldn't make any impression, it was like rock. "Told you so." Alicia then stood up and grabbed Luke with one hand by his belt and hoisted him into the air. She started curling him like a hand weight. "One, two, three, four...".She counted out 20 reps and didn't even break a sweat before lowering him gently to the ground. "Now do you believe me?" She asked. "Wow, that's really impressive", Luke gasped, relieved that he was no longer a human dumbbell flying through the air. "You're definitely strong, but you haven't proven that you're stronger than me". "Do you think you could do that to me?" Alicia asked. "No, but you're taller and heavier than me so it's not a fair comparison" he replied. "OK then, we'll have to do this the hard way", Alicia sighed. She squeezed her curvaceous butt out of her jeans, revealing a pair of white panties that set Luke's heart racing. Her thighs were enormous, thick and muscular, and her calves were almost as big around as his thighs. "Take your top off, and your jeans" she ordered. "No way", Luke replied. "What on earth for?" "We're gonna wrestle, it'll be fun, you'll see." Luke couldn't believe his ears. He had never wrestled a girl before, and certainly not one this big. "Come on, hurry up, or I'll take them off for you" she said, coming closer. "Alright, alright, give me a minute." Luke struggled out of his jeans and top, revealing his pale wiry arms and legs, which suddenly looked very insignificant compared to the tanned muscular arms and legs of the girl kneeling opposite him. "Ready?" she asked. "Wait, wait, what are the rules?" Luke asked. "Let's see, first to three pins or submissions wins." "OK, let's go." Alicia and Luke circled each other on their knees, each eyeing the other warily. They feinted and dodged, each sizing the other up. Suddenly Alicia pounced, with lightening fast reflexes, grabbing his neck with one hand and his crotch with the other. She lifted him high into the air, turned him over and slammed him down on his back on to the blanket before pinning him beneath her muscular body. "Uffff", was all that he could manage, having just seen the blue sky briefly flash before his eyes. "One, two, three. First pin to me I think", Alicia gloated. "Ready to go again?" she asked. "Just a minute, I need to catch my breath", gasped Luke, clearly winded. "Take as long as you like, I'm not going anywhere" Alicia replied, and then started a very unnerving stretching routine, flexing her calves and thighs, her biceps and triceps. Jesus, Luke thought, starting to wonder if she really was capable of crushing the life out of him if she wanted to. "I do hope you're going to put up more of a fight, otherwise this will be over in no time", Alicia said sweetly, smiling at Luke's evident confusion at what had just happened. "Ok, I'm ready", he said. This time they stood up and faced each other in a classic wrestlers standoff. They locked hands, and Luke tried to force Alicia's arms down, hoping to gain a quick advantage. He found that he couldn't move her arms at all, and he was straining as hard as he could. Alicia slowly forced his hands down, forcing him onto his knees, as he looked up at her in awe. When he could stand the pressure no more she leaped on top of him, pinning him beneath her. Luked quickly tried to roll out from under her but was pinned by one of her muscular legs. "Uhhhh, too heavy", Luke groaned, as her right leg crushed him into the ground. Alicia smiled as she pressed her leg down on top of him, watching him squirm helplessly as she crushed him with just one powerful thigh. She then placed her arms under his body and lifted him up momentarily while she slid her left leg underneath him and then closed her legs around his chest in a muscular vise. She locked her ankles. "Gotcha". "Oh God, please", Luke begged, before she had even started to squeeze, the pressure already more than he could bear. "Sorry, was that a submission?" Alicia asked. "Nooohhhh", Luke gagged. Alicia squeezed gently, her massive thigh muscles flexing ever so slightly and constricting the helpless boy held tightly between them. "Submit, submit, I submit", screamed Luke, tears welling in his eyes as his chest felt like it would implode. Alicia unlifted her heavy leg off of him and helped him up. He stood shakily, his legs like rubber. "Are you ok?" She asked. "I wasn't sure how much pressure to apply, so I started off gentle, but it seems that was enough." "That was gentle?" Luke asked incredulously, nursing his tender ribs. "Sure, I can squeeze much harder than that. Wanna try?" "No, no thanks." Luke said hurriedly. "Well, that's 2 to me. One more and you're out" said Alicia. "I'm not sure I can continue", he replied, his ribs really hurting. Had she broken something? He couldn't risk getting more seriously injured. "Course you can. Anyway quitting isn't an option, that's what coach always says". Alicia smiled at him. God, she wasn't going to let him quit. Even if he wanted to. He thought about begging, appealing to her good natured side. "Please Alicia, we don't need to do this anymore. Let's just call the whole thing off." "We said three pins or submissions, and three it's going to be", Alicia stated. "But you've proven you're stronger than me", Luke said in a whinny self pitying voice. "I always knew I was stronger than you, but you wanted me to prove it to you" Alicia replied. "Well I'm done." Luke sat down on the blanket. "I'll give you to the count of five to get up, or else I'll just come and get you. One, two, three, four, five." Luke sat defiantly on the blanket, his arms folded across his bruised chest. Alicia stepped over to where he sat, her massive muscular legs straddling his seated body like giant redwoods. Luke looked up and saw his doom. He put his hands up in a vain effort to fend her off, but she brushed them aside, grabbed him under the armpits and lifted him off his feet into the air. She wrapped her powerful arms around him and started to bearhug him, his feet dangling uselessly inches from the ground. "Arrgh, please, arrgghh, it hurts", Luke sobbed. He felt like he was in a trash compactor, such was the unyielding strength of her arms compressing him against her firm chest. Luke finally realized how hopelessly outclassed he was in a competition of strength against this girl. She really could crush him and there was nothing he could do to stop her. "I give. I give. Oh God, please stop" he wailed. Alicia felt his ribs bending, and knew that if she squeezed any harder he would be spending the night in hospital. It excited her to think that she could break him with so little effort, but decided that he had learned his lesson and lowered him gently to the floor, releasing him from her steel grip. She kissed him lightly on the forehead. "Three to me I believe". Luke backed away from her. "Stay away from me, you hear, you're crazy." "No, I'm not crazy, just a lot stronger than you, wimp." She replied, pulling on her sweater and jeans. She packed up her things and strode off, leaving a dazed and confused Luke to wonder how things had gone so badly wrong. His supposedly ideal afternoon had nearly ended with him having his ribs pulverized by the girl of his dreams. Worse than this even, what was he going to tell the guys at school tomorrow? He had made the mistake of letting some of them know that he was going to ask Alicia out on a date. How could he be so stupid. Now he would look like an dork in front of his friends. He would have to think of something, and fast. To be continued ...
