This exciting story is about a $1 Million dollar female boxing championship
bout.  There actually was such a fight scheduled between Christy Martin and
Lucia Rijker, capitalizing on Lucia's appearances in the movies "Million
Dollar Baby" and "Shadow Boxers" (both excellent).  Unfortunately it never
happened.
                                                                                
The muscular heroine "Linda Murphy" appears to be based on Lenda
Murray, a multiple Ms. Olympia winner.
                                                                                
It is a unique story because it's written as a pay-per-view TV announcers'
description of the fight.  Some of the macho repartee is pretty funny.  The
writer did some research on actual rules and weight classes for women's
boxing.  Body measurements and weight-lifting poundages appear to be
based on facts, although not all applicable to Linda Murray.
