I Lay Me Down To Rest by Madman     This is not my usual wrestling domination stuff, I felt like posting something a different this time.  These are the lyrics to a song I wrote, not everything I do revolves around the fetish oriented stuff found in this wonderful website. I  was in a sort of reflective state of mind and the song practically wrote itself. It is in a moderate 4/4 meter in a similar style to the folk rock of the 60's  It is in the key of A minor and uses primarily the basic chords associated with that key (Am, Em, C,D,Gand a couple seventh chords for more tonal variety. There are a couple of more complex jazzy chords, but with my limited knowledge of music theory,I don't know their names.  Basically, I just hear the tones in my head and find them on the fretboard of the guitar                              I Lay Me Down to Rest   I  go to bed to the dark of the night and I wake to the light of the day I look to the past to see what's been done and I know it shall always be done that way             Chorus I lay me down to rest,my friend I lay me down to rest I lay me down to rest, my friend I lie hoping for the best Yes,I lie hoping for the best   My clock, it starts at twelve o'clock\ and it heads on toward the six But then it returns to where it started from While all the time it merely ticks         Chorus   I once knew a girl and I loved her so But now she's gone away We took our lives and we blended them But they were not meant to stay that way           Chorus   Guitar solo   Chorus   The moon revolves around the earth The earth before the sun I don't know where there aheading to Don't know from where they've come     Chorus 2X                                       thi ________________________________________________________________________________ How low will we go?
