Trial By Amazon by Miranda Alone, I face a suspicious WW following her "uncharitable" wrestling charity match Numbed by the turn ofevents, but completely under the spell of her presence, I followed Wonder Woman up the aisle. In awe, I watched her powerful thighs, beautifully contoured, flowing up to that perfectly shaped, star-spangled ass, lead me to a dressing room. I completely forgot all my self-defence training and walked into the room, totally off guard. Fortunately, Wonder Woman's steel grip was softened by her velvet skin, so that when she applied the neck pinch, I barely felt it. When I came to, I was sitting in a chair, wrapped in glowing golden cord. As my wits returned to me, I realized it was actually the Golden Lasso. Wonder Woman was sitting in a chair across from me, watching me patiently. When she didn't say anything, I started to look around to try and get my bearings. Beyond my heroine, there was nothing else that was familiar and nothing to indicate where I was. When I looked back at Wonder Woman, she smiled slightly, then stood up. It was all I could do to keep breathing as she walked toward me. My mouth was probably hanging open like a kid seeing a dream come to life before their eyes. "Now that you are conscious we can begin", Wonder Woman stated simply. "Do not try to guess where you are. Let's just say you are in my equivalent of Superman's Fortress of Solitude. As you have noticed, I have wrapped you with my lasso because I have questions to ask. Relax, tell the truth, and the answers will come out naturally." I nodded. I could think of nothing to say. Wonder Woman was standing only a few feet away. My greatest worry was that I would be able to even hear the questions, because I felt my brain was completely involved with looking at her. Gently, but firmly, the Amazon began her questioning. She found out the truth about the events following her defeat by Supergirl in the match at Headquarters, and what I discovered about her belt of power. She also got a quick overview of my involvement in events with Superman, Batgirl and Catwoman. Finally, she asked how I came to find out about the event and why I intervened. Listening to my answers she nodded, then asked, "And what were you going to tell me in the ring?" "I had found out who was responsible for organizing the event and the attack on you", I answered. "And who was that?" Wonder Woman asked. "I was told it was someone called 'Cheetah'", I responded. For a brief second, Wonder Woman's face and eyes looked dark and grave. She looked up past me, thinking. Finally, aloud she said, "That is a name I have not heard for some time. She has always been very dangerous." Up to that point, I had only spoken to answer her questions. Uncertain as to whether or not she was going to continue to question me, there was something I was sure she unaware of and therefore could not ask about. "Princess...", I began hestitantly. Wonder Woman looked down at me again. "You have something you wish to add? Please, speak." "The powder...that they used to . . . weaken you . . ." "Yes. Go on." Wonder Woman urged intently. "I recovered the remainder of the powder from the wrestlers. It is in a packet in my bustier. I thought it would be best to have it analyzed to see if there was any way of counter-attacking it." Wonder Woman stared at me with an expression I could not read. Wordlessly, she came around behind me and began to untie the Golden Lasso. As she wrapped it up, she came around and stood in front of me. She looked to her right and pointed to a door. "Go through there", she ordered. "Inside, remove your clothes and leave the packet with the powder on the table inside the door. Go into the next room and sit in the cira for twenty minutes and then come back and see me." Nodding, I got up and headed for the door. When I got into the next room, I saw the small table and placed the packet of powder there. I looked around and saw a glass enclosed area with a door. I removed my bustier and panties and entered. Inside was small diamond shaped pool filled with a clear blue liquid containing many small particles. There was a relaxing fragrance in the room that drew me to the pool. Remembering the instructions I was given, I slowly entered and found I could sit comfortably with the liquid coming up to my neck. I couldn't believe the sensation! I felt all my muscles totally relax. The liquid did not feel too hot or too cold. Very quickly, I had the feeling that I was floating without anything touching me at all. Taken by a desire just to enjoy it, I put my head back against the edge of the pool and closed my eyes. I suddenly opened my eyes and remembered the instructions to return to the interrogation room after twenty minutes, I scrambled out of liquid and left the pool room. Back in the outer room, I saw the packet was gone from the table, but that my bustier and panties were where I had left them. I thought I would dry off and then dress. As I looked around for a towel, I absently touched one arm with the other hand. I was shocked to find that from my neck to my toes I was covered in blue particle film that was the same color as the liquid in the pool. The only areas that weren't covered were my breasts just below my nipples and my midsection down to just below my below my belly button. Realizing again I was keeping someone waiting, I opened the door and went back into the interrogation room. I stopped and stared in awe at what I saw. Sitting on the same chair that she had been on when I first came to was Wonder Woman. She was covered in the same film that I was, exposing a deeply etched, rock hard six-pack. When I hesitated, she beckoned me to come forward and sit in the same chair I had been sitting in previously. In front of the chair were a pair of black shoes with four inch heels. I timidly came forward and sat down in the chair. "Put on the shoes and then we will begin", she stated simply. I slowly leaned forward, did as I was told, and then sat back in the chair trying to seem as composed as possible. "You are about to be given a unique opportunity", said Wonder Woman. "You have displayed an Amazon's spirit in coming to my aid. Your reward for that action is to take part in an special activity. If you fail in this challenge, you will be returned to your world with no memory of any events since the end of that so called 'charity match'." "Uh, what happens if I succeed?" I asked uncertainly. "Then you will remember everything. And in remembering, you will know that you were successful", Wonder Woman replied without expression. "Okay", I responded, still not sure what I was getting into. "Then, what must I do?" "You will take part in a contest of strength and stamina on which you will be judged. If you are not considered superior in both areas, you will have failed the challenge." Looking around quickly and nervously I asked, "Who will be judging me and how will they do it?" Pointing at me, Wonder Woman answered, "The cira." "The cira?" I repeated confused, looking down at my body. "I don't understand." "Yes, the cira", Wonder Woman responded. "It is an organism alien to this world that has been on our island for many years. Even we Amazons do not know its origins. But it has served us, strenghened us, protected us and it communicates with us. Cira is highly intelligent and has many other powers and abilities that are still unknown to us. For the sake of this challenge, it has covered our bodies to allow us to compete on an even footing, and so that it can measure and compare our responses." "Our responses?" I blurted out, alarmed. "Our responses to what?" "To the punches that we will give to each other." I was stunned! I opened my mouth to stay something, but nothing came out. My mind then flashed back to the body beating Wonder Woman had laid on me in the ring after her third bout with Supergirl. It was only the discovery shortly after of parathemys that had allowed my body to recover quickly from the intense pain (although that wasn't the only thing that was intense that day). As if reading my mind, Wonder Woman spoke again. "Allow me to apologize for the pain I inflicted on you when we met in the ring. An Amazon's anger is a terrible thing to face when it is unleashed, and the circumstances of that occasion did not have me at my best. This, however, will be different." I took a deep breathe as the memory of those events flooded through my mind once again. "So, how does this challenge work?" I asked finally. "We will stand and face each other. Our left hands will be on the backs of our chairs and must remain there throughout. We will each take a turn punching each other in the midsection. If one of us takes our hand off the chair, the other may punch to the underside of the breast." I winced at the last sentence as memories of the previous pain returned again. Then I asked, "Why only the underside?" "As you can see, the cira is not present there", Wonder Woman replied. "If I touch the cira anywhere on your body, it will dissolve away and will disrupt its communication with the cira on my body. I know it all sounds strange", she continued in response to my puzzled look, "But you will have to trust me. We will punch each other until one cannot continue or falls to both knees." "Then what happens?" I asked. "I mean, if that happens to me, do I automatically lose the challenge?" "No", the Amazon answered. "But, by your reactions so far, it is my belief that you will not fail. If there are no more questions, we will begin." After a brief pause, I nodded. When Wonder Woman stood, I did also. Following her directions we manuevred the chairs into place so that we could place our left hands on them. We now stood face to face and I was again in awe of the magnificent, beautiful amazon goddess standing before me. I then noticed that Wonder Woman was not wearing shoes. With the high- heeled shoes that I was wearing, it meant that I nearly matched her 6' 2" height. This meant we could throw the same kind of punches to each other's midsections. "Okay, I'm ready", I said taking a deep breath. "Good", Wonder Woman responded. "The first punch is yours." I nodded, then took another deep breath. I steadied myself, bent my knees and drove an uppercut into her belly button. There was a slight grunt as the blow connected, but it felt like I was hitting a wall. I braced myself as I watched Wonder Woman recover and prepare herself. Then her right fist shot out in a straight jab that drilled my abs just above the belly button. I felt pain spread throughout my midsection as the air was forced out of my lungs. Unlike our first meeting, the pain faded rather quickly and I found myself ready to punch her much sooner than I had expected. We continued to exchange punches. In no time, Wonder Woman's skin was a bright pink where it was not covered by the cira, and I was sure mine was as well. Perspiration was appearing on our midsections and faces. I soon noticed that although I was still able to throw my punches with considerable force, the ache in my midsection was beginning to intensify after each blow received and was lasting longer. I also noticed that I was beginning to breathe harder with exertion. I was encouraged by the louder gasps and grunts she was making which seemed to indicate she was feeling some effect of my punches. But it was difficult to enjoy them as she would quickly return a punch with enough force to show she wasn't weakening very much. Neither of us had spoken since the first punch was thrown. I had forgotten about whether or not I would pass the challenge as I concentrated on finding an area of weakness. I soon noticed that my punches to her abs just below and to the right side of the belly button on her body brought the loudest reactions and the most pain to her face. I began throwing every punch to that area. Finally I felt one punch sink in a little farther than the rest. I noticed out of the corner of my eye that her hand briefly came off the chair. I quickly drove an uppercut into Wonder Woman's left breast. This brought a howl of pain from her lips and she immediately regrasped the the chair. Now with greater confidence I prepared to receive her next blow. I was shocked by the intensity of the uppercut that ripped into my solar plexus. I heard the air burst out of my lungs as I doubled over. As I slowly straightened up, I realized to late that my left hand had come off my chair. Before I could mentally prepare myself, I felt fire in my chest as her right uppercut ripped up into my left breast. It was all I could do at that point to gather my wits about me. As I worked desparately to get the air back into my lungs, I realized that I had not properly prepared my ab muscles to receive Wonder Woman's punch. The success I seemed to be having had led to overconfidence, and now I was paying the price. I managed to regrip the chair with my left hand and tried to find the strength to throw my next punch. I was able to throw it with more force than I thought possible for the way I was feeling, but I it seemed to have little effect on the Amazon. Her next punch was an uppercut that connected just below my belly button sending pain up through my midsection. I felt an ache in my solar plexus again, and it was all I could do to take a breath and throw my next punch. When it landed ineffectually, I tried to brace myself for the return blow. Wonder Woman's straight punch to just above my belly button seemed like it went right through me. Pain radiated outward from the point of contact making it very difficult for me to breathe and concentrate. When I looked up at Wonder Woman, she seemed to be showing slight surprise. Trying to use that as inspiration, I threw my next punch, but it was no more effective than the previous one. Her next punch was to the same spot as the one she had thrown before and I felt my knees buckle. Only holding onto the chair prevented me from falling. Hoping against hope that I could still mount a comeback, I threw my next punch to that 'weak spot' in her lower abs, but again the effect was minimal. I summoned what inner resources I could, but it was not enough as another uppercut to my belly lifted me slightly off my feet and brought my left hand off the chair. In a haze of pain, I was only dimly aware of my situation. I was brought back to reality by the fire of pain being reignited in my breast by another uppercut. I felt myself sink to a knee. I reached out as quickly as I could to grab my chair. With my abs burning in intense pain, I somehow managed to pull myself back up. "You should concede", Wonder Woman stated simply. Unable to speak, I rapidly shook my head. I managed to stand up completely and throw another punch. I saw it land, but the Amazon showed no effect. When I looked up at her face, her eyes were calm and focused as she connected with my belly button. Once again the pain caused me to release my grip on my chair and consequently my left breast suffered as a result. I somehow managed to stay on my feet even though it felt like all the strength was gone from my legs. I tried to focus on throwing another punch. Whether I did or not didn't matter. Wonder Woman's next punch was to my solar plexus and this time I could not get my legs back underneath me. As the intense pain slowly began to clear, I realized I was down on the ground on both knees, desparately trying to get air back into my lungs. "Get up!" I heard the Amazon's order through a haze of pain. It seemed as if all my brain's functions were involved with experiencing the intensity of the pain. A small part of my brain reminded me that since I was on my knees, that should mean the pain and punishment were at an end because the challenge had ended. It also suggested that I had lost the challenge. The good part of that was that I wouldn't have any memory of the overwhelming pain I was feeling. The bad part was that I would lose all those visual memories of seeing Wonder Woman upclose. Focusing on those things allowed my pain-dazzled brain to command the muscles in my legs to do what was necessary, and with the help of my left arm I managed to begin to stand, my right arm across my pain-wracked gut. As I straightened up, I felt the hair on my head slightly brush something soft, but firm. I took two unsteady steps back, dimly thinking I had accidentally hit something, but not comprehending what it might be. When I finally got my legs steadied underneath me, I brought my head up and looked to Wonder Woman to learn my fate.
