I Hate Muscles - A Growth Story

Tom Petty was blaring on the radio.

"And I'm free ... ... ..free falling ... ... .."

The girls sang aloud. Life was good. They had just entered into Nevada and
were cruising across the desert in Maghan's 1998 Jetta. This was "Girls week"
and all involved were euphoric as a week in Vegas loomed ahead full of
possibilities. Amy, Lara and Meghan had been friends since middle school and
had made a point to get together for a week of drinking and partying every
year since college. The girls were approaching thirty now, but all still
maintained a zest for life.

"Can you BELIEVE that woman at the gas station?" Lara shouted over the music.
Lara was 30 years old. At 5'7" she was still attractive, but possessed a
"plain Jane" type of body. She had gone through a slew of "art house" skinny
men but had failed to land the man of her dreams.

"Her arms were bigger than my thighs!" Amy replied. Amy was a tall redhead who
had always carried a few extra pounds on the frame. At 5'11' she garnered
attention, but always longed for a more shapely body.

The girls had stopped for gas and snacks at a Mobile 10 miles back and had run
into a female bodybuilder who had happened to be at the store. The woman
dressed in a sleeveless blouse and skirt commanded attention. She was in
ripped condition and her blond hair flowed freely over her shoulders and arms.
All three girls had silently taken notice of the womanize physique but nobody
commented until now.

"Why would someone put that much effort into looking disgusting?" Lara said.

"I dated a guy once who was all into that ... do you remember Tommy?" remarked
Amy.

"I liked Tommy ... he was cool. What do you mean he was 'into that?" Meghan
replied.

"Like I said ... .I would catch him looking at muscle women pictures on the
Internet all the time. He tried to hide it, but something would pop up on his
computer all the time. He would deny it, but I am not stupid and I know he had
some sort of fetish for these women. I even caught him jacking- off to some
muscle woman drawing one time. It was almost sad seeing him try to decide
weather to pull his pants up or close the computer screen when I walked in."

"Gross" said Meghan making an 'icky face'

"One time I asked him why he was with me. I mean I am never gonna look like
one of those women so why was he dating me?"

"What did he say?"

"He claimed he only was looking at the pictures because he followed the sport
of bodybuilding . Sure. Like he's in a fantasy muscle chick league and his
number one draft choice is Ms.Jenny Huge Steroid Veiny I Could Beat Any Man Up
by Swinging my Penis At Him Johnson"

Meghan and Lara laugh ... ."Are you kidding?"

"Another time I found a box of old video tapes with stupid names like "T. Lock
or A. Rivv". I threw them up in the main collection. One day I needed to tape
"Will and Grace" so I grabbed a tape out of the box. I taped the episode ...
.watched it ... . and after the show the tape does its normal stattic and then
this girl comes out it a dress with the muscleiest arms I have ever seen. I've
seen my share of model shoots on the beach or in feather laden beds, but this
is wha6t cracked me up ... .There is is huge muscle woman in a bikini in ther
middle of somebody's front yard. Is that a normal occurance in New Jersey?
Does she think this is leading to a huge modeling contract?

Antother collective laugh from the girls.

"I have never told anybody this." Said Lara with a grin, "Do you remember
David? I went through the same thing with him ... .My mom sent me picture of
my niece. I went to save them and a window of "Pics" with a bunch of files
popped up. I saved them and out of curiosity I pulled up some of the other
files. I burst out laughting when the first pictuer came up. This manly woman
thinks she is all that. I wanted to say 'Hon, you wern't attractive before ...
what in the world makes you thing bulging muscles will help? Now I am a fan of
a six pack on women and I wish I had one, but why would any woman want legs
that look like Sammy Sosa?

"Unbelievable" said Meghn.

The other two girls laughed.

Meghan started "I have never told anyone this."

Amy chuckled "Not you TOO"

Meghan laughed ... .."worse ... ..when Missy was born I sent out pics to all
my relatives (You two were spared the embarrasment as I caught my mistake)
Here is "Miss Missy" wrote, but apparantly what was sent was a muscle woman in
jean shorts and a tank top. Aunt Heddy opened the pic expecting to find a
newborn photo but got a chick flexing her monster biceps. I blamerd it on a
computer virus because my family is not computer savvy, but it was soooo
embarrasing. Every time a slightly muscular woman is ojn TV my family gives me
a weird look."

All three said together ... ... "Those muscle women are disgusting."
