Matilda's Revenge




As high school kids, I was a big bully. Always teased the girls and guys who
were Meant to be teased, I mean the weak kids. There was this girl called
Matilda, who were teased a lot because of her insane attitude. She was so
dumb(at least I thought!!!) and a Total freak. She used to dress all weird,
like purple clothes, purple hair band. Her hair was like all messed up. I use
to put chewgum in her hair!!!!! Sometimes, sand and chalk Also fell in that
bush!!! She was bad at all games, but she did try to participate in all of
Them. That though was a good sporting attitude, but it ended up in more tease.
She had practically no friends in the class. But this Matilda was good in
studies, I should admit that, she was not the best student but definitely a
serious one.

It was a sunny afternoon in the month of May. The year was 1999, my junior
year in high school. All students were preparing for their summer holidays.
Specially the month of May was the month were all kids use to save money to
enjoy during the holidays. I already saved about $ 100, but I needed at least
$250 to buy this game box as I wanted to Enjoy this in my vacations. A
brilliant idea(though later I repented all throughout my life for that) struck
me. Why not force some money from Matilda, fight her and get some money. As
Matilda was a weak puny girl, my chances seem bright!!!! Then after school was
over, I offered Matilda a ride back home for the first time in my life!!!!!!!
She was So overjoyed by that, and being such a simple girl, she forgot all
those harsh days of teasing, she said "Dave you are the only friend in the
entire high school" and then she hugged me. Then she said "Though u tease me a
lot, I know you are a great friend, and We will remain friends forever" I was
thinking is she mad or what???? I am supposing to be her enemy!!!!! I learnt
later that Matilda was a type of girl who thought enemies can be destroyed by
love, love can remove hate. Anyway, on the ride home, after a while I was
asking her about her plans for the summer. She said she was planning to buy a
gamekit(The same gamekit I was planning to buy!!!!!) So I asked her "so have
you already Conglomerated your money?????" She said I have already $200 now
with me in My book bag and I think I will manage $50 somehow(as there was
still two- three weeks to go) Then I said to Matilda" Matilda, let's be good
friends and really forget those teasing days, I promise not to tease you
anymore." A sign of happiness was reflected in that girl, but next moment she
said" Dave, I can't believe my luck, are you doing this to get some help from
me???? My class notes or what????" My heart started beating fast, thinking I
was caught, but then I changed my tone and said " That's why I don't want to
do good to anyone, as people suspects me, that's why I be mean to everyone."

Now Matilda was really melted, she said " No, I was just checking, no you
really are a very sweet kid" Next I told Matilda" Let's go for a ride as I am
very happy today"

Matilda said " Me too, I am very happy, now you really are my true friend"
Then after taking her to the suburbs of the city, I said "Matilda, give me all
the $200 you have right now" Obviously she protested and then later pleaded,
she said take everything of me, BUT please don't take that, I am saving that
for almost an year now. PLEASE, Dave I beg. Anyway, I was so adamant, that I
started pulling her bookbag, she started to hit me, but she was so weak that
did not affect me at all. After 20-30 minutes of active resistance Matilda
gave in, she was almost unconscious, she was injured too as I did hot her
badly.

I left her on that lonely place(at least half an hour from the city) with her
bookbags and books scattered on the road as I had to do that in order to get
that money. She put all her cash inside a book(instead of her purse) for
safety. Anyway, now I had $300, I bought the gamekit and bought other
accessories with the remaining $50. I did not know what happened to Matilda
for almost 2-3 days. After that we all learned that some people found her in
the road, she was unconscious and now fighting death in the hospital. She had
an internal injury in brain and lots of other serious injuries. Well I didn't
remain To have hit her so hard, as I was busy for hunting my $200. I could
have left $50 for her, As I didn't need the money, but I was mean enough to do
that. Anyway, Matilda never came back to school nor was I interested to know
what happened to her, but I was kinda sure she did not die, as then I would
have known through school authorities or through some local daily vernacular
or from friends at least. Anyway, what I did that day, was to Kill a hope of
an young girl not only of her summer but also of her life as she never came
back to school. I did miss her in my senior school, as I had no Matilda to
tease!!!!

Then next year we all graduated and went to college. I became very serious
once I was in college, very devoted to studies for the first time and I
stopped teasing anyone as I did not have the time. Meantime I fell in love
with this girl in our class, her name was Jessica. She was a cute blonde, a
gorgeous girl. She was very good in studies, we two always were sort of rivals
for the first spot in the class. Love, just did not bloom right away, we were
great friends throughout the freshman year, studying hard and competing
against each other, helping each other in everything. Sharing food in lunch,
going out for rides in Weekends, everything was there. There was also the
summers, were I saved money again to buy a new gamekit, but now the gamekits
were very expensive, all more than $500.

Then it was a May afternoon, in my junior year. As usual I saved $700 for
summer. As usual I was giving Jessica ride back home, but since it was a
Friday as like all Fridays we Were going to the long drive. Now we were having
an affair, so Jessica was sitting very intimately with me. After we were out
of the city, Jessica said" can you stop the car right here, I have some things
to tell you" I immediately pushed in my break oil. Now Jessica in a loud tone
said " Do you remember this place" I said" Which place, this is no place at
all" Jessica said "Exactly, and you left a girl dying in this place, which is
not a place"

I said " how did u know all that?" Jessica then said" because "I am Matilda" I
said to Jessica" Stop cutie, stop joking, and forget all that, I admit that
was a heinous crime and don't ever compare yourself with Matilda, you are
better than her in all respect" Jessica said" yeah I am better than her in all
respect and even better to manhandle you now and snatch the $700 from you"
Saying this she started pulling my bookbag,(now I like Matilda had kept the
cash in a book, thinking that's the safest way) I just managed to get out of
the car and started to run as I knew this girl though she is Jessica(and
pretending to be Matilda) will snatch by hard earned $700 and spoil my summer.
Jessica ran behind me and caught me in 2-3 minutes, then she really started to
kick the hell out of me. It became a real fight for almost 20-30 minutes after
that I was in the ground begging her to stop.

She sat on top of me and said" Dave I am Matilda, see the birth mark on my
left ear(now Matilda had a black spot behind her ear, which I use to tease her
of. It is generally not noticeable, as it is behind the left ear) Jessica
continued sitting on my chest"After you took my money in this place, exactly
four years back, I was found by 2-3 people after 24 hours, they took me to a
hospital where I was throughout the summer. Then I became well, but promised
never to come back to this school. I also promised for a revenge on you, I
completed my high school degree in private and applied to this school as I
learnt from one of your friends that you wanted to come here. Now both of us
in the same department is a coincidence though" But I said " but you are
different in everything than her,looks, height, strength, in studies, games
everything" Jessica(now Matilda) said " I changed my looks as I had to go in
for a plastic surgery as my face was spoilt by the injuries you inflicted on
me. I grew almost 4-5 inches in last 4 years, that's because I reached puberty
at a later age and in anyway I reached his height as it was in my genes.

I spent almost an hour everyday in gym in last 4 years, so I am so strong now,
studies were something I was always good at, I developed it even better as I
came to college, and in games,I definitely took a lot of time to develop the
skills, but now I am very good at it. It's just an example of "Nothing is
impossible" So now I can even beat you or at least compete at equal levels
with you in games. Then I purposely made friends with you and started flirting
with you and was waiting for this day, look Dave that was also Junior year,
this is also junior, that was May 8th today is May 8th too!!!!! BUT times have
changed now, I am in the driver's seat, and now you love the girl you used to
detest so much!!!!!" I pleaded" Matilda please get of my chest, it's hurting
very badly, I am sorry" Anyway, hearing that she said" As if you listened to
me that day" and saying that she started jumping with her full weight on top
of me. I was already injured as she did give me severe blows before and now
this jumping was really killing me ... ... ... ... ... ... ..

After that I became unconscious ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
