The Times Are Changing - A Poem

Stand up Mr Tough Guy, get up off your seat
It's been written, "a hard man is good to beat"
Especially one who's also a liar and a cheat
This woman's ready to knock you off your feet
I've waited so long for this day to appear
And I feel so alive now that it's finally here
There'll be no more cowering and no more fear
This woman's gonna hurt you and she won't shed a tear
So stand up you coward, stand up and fight
This woman's gonna beat you to her great delight
For beat you I will, as sure as day follows night
So prepare for your downfall as I put out your light
What's that you say? You're too tough for me
'Cos I'm just a woman, I'm just a 'she'
Well stand up and fight me and then we shall see
Or are you too scared of just what might be!?
For now is the hour, no more will I run
And I'll make you sorry before I am done
The wheels of change are turning, the battle's now begun
And she who once lost will be she who has won
So listen you "arseholes" and take heed of my words
You arrogant, ignorant, chauvinistic turds
We're coming to get you, we're coming in herds
You think you're superior? Don't be so absurd!
