The Football Match, Boys v Girls by Lady Luck The boys of Abbey Comprehensive School had challenged the girls of Oaklee High School to a football match. The all boys school was resentful of the fact that the all girls school was running a football team. It was not a sport for girls; it was a male sport and they planned on proving to the girls that they should stick to netball. The girls' gym teacher, Miss Riley, was relishing the challenge. She had coached the girls herself and they had responded to everything that had been asked of them. They concentrated on practising the basic skills, like ball control, passing accurately, quick movement off the ball and, most essentially, the girls had a wonderful work ethic and excellent team spirit. The boys, on the other hand, were very much individuals and were epitomised by their captain Mark Evans who considered himself the cock of the school. He was very arrogant and something of a bully and had scant regard for the girls. He was regularly heard to say, before the match, how much he was looking forward to putting "those silly girls in their places," and really rubbing their noses in it. Most of the boys were 17 years of age with two or three of them (Evans included) 18. Apart from the girls' captain, Karen, all the girls were 16. Karen was 17. The boys' teacher Mr Goddard had suggested that Miss Riley be allowed to referee the match. That way, when the boys won there could be no suggestion of any bias or foul play. The girls kicked off and within two minutes they were a goal up. A lovely, slick interchange of passing between Karen and Debbie split the boys' defence wide open and Debbie sent a crisp pass out to Beth on the wing. The diminutive yet perky girl dipped her shoulder and with a shake of her hips totally mesmerised her marker and left him sitting on his arse when a wild challenge missed her completely. She ran to the line and pulled the ball back neatly to Helen who slotted home from about six yards. "Offside, offside!" screamed Mark Evans. "Don't be silly, it's a goal," said Miss Riley, "now get back to the centre circle." He walked back muttering and grumbling to himself. The boys kicked off and the ball was punted up the pitch for the centre forward John Simmons to chase. Angela easily intercepted and played the ball accurately along the floor to Amanda, who flicked it skilfully between her legs and swivelled in one movement, completely outwitting Billy Biggs. "Stuffy bitch!" he shouted. Angela took no notice and played a pass to Karen who ran forward purposefully before unleashing a tremendous shot from 25 yards which rocketed into the net for a wonderful goal, and 2-0 to the girls. "I suppose that was offside as well," she remarked to Evans sarcastically. "Piss off you silly slag," he snarled. The boys kicked off again but they were totally lacking in the basic skills, too often just kicking the ball aimlessly up the pitch, whereas the girls had obviously practised hard to hone their skills and were much more comfortable in possession. Beverley intercepted such a long and aimless punt up the pitch in the full back position with a neat yet firm challenge on the right winger, Paul Bent. She brushed him aside as she went passed him and he fell over, shouting that she had tripped him. "Foul, dirty foul," he whined. "I never touched you, you mard arse," she retorted, as she found Susie with a glorious raking pass centre field, "get up you little wimp or else go home and play with that little toy soldier down your shorts." Beverley was quite taken aback to receive a sharp rebuke from Karen, "Concentrate Bev!" she shouted, but then she winked at Beverley and, with a beaming smile on her face continued, "we can take the piss out of them later." Meanwhile Susie had found Joyce on the right wing and her low, hard cross was met by Alison in the penalty area and she dived bravely to head a stunning goal into the bottom corner of the net. It was 3-0 and the boys began to get agitated, blaming one another, and started to whinge and whine like only boys can. At this point the girls knew that they would win. The boys had lost control and couldn't take the pain of losing to girls. "Come on," shouted Evans, "they're only a bunch of dippy girls." The girls just continued to run rings round their opponents and at half time they were leading 7-0. As the two teams huddled together in their separate areas during the half time interval, the team talks could not have been more contrasting. Mr Goddard was tearing into the boys and yelling at the top of his voice, "You're a disgrace, you're losing to a bunch of stupid girls!" The boys simply responded by blaming each other. The girls were cool, calm and collected and very together. They were confident of making it an absolutely humiliating rout and were determined not to slacken the pace in the second half. They wanted as many goals as possible. The second half was a demonstration of childish bad temper and foul play from the boys' team as they tried to kick and impede the girls at every opportunity, contesting every decision that went against them, but it was a futile effort. The girls retained their dignity and kept their composure under intense provocation and just kept playing with a fluency that simply mesmerised the opposition. By the time Karen had scored her personal 5th goal to make it 15-0, the boys were completely washed up and some were in tears. They couldn't take it. They just couldn't take losing to girls at what they considered to be their own game. If they'd only practised the more subtle skills that the girls possessed instead of just relying on brute strength and precious little else, then they might have stood a chance of at least registering a consolation goal. It finished 18-0 to the girls and they hugged each other and raised their arms in victory and blew mocking kisses to the vanquished boys. Miss Riley approached Mr Goddard to thank him for the game but he snarled at her and said the girls were lucky and had just caught his boys on a bad day. "I'd hardly call 18-0 just a bad day," said Miss Riley, "just admit that the girls were superior." "Never," he said, "we'd beat you at physical and contact sports anytime," he arrogantly declared. "Does that include wresting and fist fighting?" she asked. "Yeah, definitely," he replied. "Oh well let's prove it now in the gym," she offered. "Right, you're on," he replied, and his eyes lit up at the prospect of showing this woman once and for all which sex was the best. The girls stood at one end of the gymnasium and the boys at the other. The boys were hoping to do some fighting themselves and restore some pride, once Mr Goddard had flattened this woman. Goddard threw the first punch. He wanted to get it over with quickly. Miss Riley was quick and agile with nimble feet and she waltzed round him and then effortlessly threw a right that snapped against his cheekbone. He tried to respond but ended up punching fresh air as she stepped back out of reach. She whacked a right and a left into his stomach, which took his breath away. The girls were cheering loudly and screaming their support and delight at the exhibition from their gym teacher. Miss Riley caught him again with a left to the side of his head and then rattled a left hook to his jaw and another right cross to the left side of his head. He stumbled and she knew she'd got him. She could either toy with him or finish him off now with one punch. She knew that the girls were itching to get to the boys after their antics on the football pitch and so she decided to finish him off. She unleashed an absolutely fantastic punch with her right fist, which crashed into his jaw. She'd knocked him clean out and punched the air in triumph. "Go girls!" she shouted, "show these mamby pamby boys exactly who the superior sex is." Goodard had certainly found out as he lay there, flat out on his back, completely outfought by Miss Riley. The girls piled into the boys and showed no mercy. They punched them in the face and kicked and kneed them in the balls and Karen made a special point of taking out the arrogant Mark Evans. Captain against Captain. She totally humiliated him with six rapid punches to his arrogant face and then punched him in the stomach. She sent a super karate kick thundering into his jaw and knocked him out. After 10 minutes the girls had knocked out every single one of the boys and just for good measure, they stripped them and left them all stark naked in the gym. Miss Riley did the same to Goddard and then they all had a good laugh at the pathetic sight of twelve shrivelled up willies. "Miss Riley, you were ace," said Karen, "and we all love you to bits." "Well I was proud of all of you girls too," she replied, "you were simply magnificent and a credit to your sex." Let's leave them a message, Miss," said Karen with a giggle, "let's bring a blackboard in here." Two of the girls did so and Karen handed a piece of chalk to Miss Riley. "You write something Miss," she said. "ARROGANT MEN SHOULD NEVER UNDERESTIMATE WOMEN" she wrote "LEARN RESPECT AND HUMILITY AND SAVE YOURSELVES THE EMBARRASSMENT OF BEING OUTPLAYED, OUTFOUGHT, OUTCLASSED AND TOTALLY HUMILIATED BY THE SUPERIOR SEX" "Nice one Miss," beamed Beverley, "but do you really think that men will ever learn their lesson?" "No," said Miss Riley, "that's why beating them is always so much fun." "Yaaaaaaay" the girls all shouted, and then launched into their anthem for the day, which they chanted cheerleader style: "Girls forever! Girls forever! Boys will never defeat us ever We are the best and we are supreme We are the girls and we are a team Together we stand divided we fall We took on the boys and fucked them all" "Yaaaaaaay. See ya losers" THE END
