Part I: The Slumber


Deep under the earth's surface they slept. 10,000 of the fiercest and bravest

Amazons. They slept in a cavernous lair, with 5,000 sleeping on one side and
another

5,000 on the other. The beds were joined together to prevent the Amazons from
falling in

their sleep. Some slept naked. Others slept in only a thong. At the most these
warriors

only wore a thong bikini. Amazons don't wear much clothes. If one looked at
the faces and body postures of these warrior women in repose, one could see a
look of contentment on some and a look of intensity on others. The reason that
these Amazons were so deep below the Earth's surface, was to conceal the
thunderous snoring that only 10,000 Amazons made. Such a loud noise might
rouse suspicion to the outside world and that was not what the Amazon Queen
Xenia wanted. She had put herself and her tribe to sleep with a purpose in
mind.

Queen Xenia, like the other 10,000 Amazons, slept soundly away. She slept in
the middle of her subjects. Sleeping softly at her sides were the twins Alla
and Bella who acted as her secretaries. Even in sleep the twins performed
their duties with no haste. The reason that Xenia put her tribe to sleep was
to prepare them for the second coming of their deadly enemy the Saima Army.
Thousands of years ago the Saima Army was the most destructive force on the
face of the earth. Led by their king Scorpio, the Saima planned to rule the
planet and rule it in their twisted way. Scorpio never thought the Amazons
would be a serious threat to his army. He held them in a very low esteem.
Everyone from the thousands of his stone soldiers, to his cruel but efficient
field Generals Schieten, Minos, and Diomedes, to their lieutenants Ura,
Kobold, and Samuron, to his magician Jinxer were all men. To the Saima army,
women were nothing to fear.

But Xenia and the Amazons proved him wrong. The Amazons decimated the Saima
army. The Amazons fought fast and furiously destroying vast amounts of
Scorpio's stone soldiers. These soldiers may have been strong and relentless,
but they easily succumbed to the power, ingenuity, and dedication of the
Amazons. The warrior women easily beat back the Saima suffering no casualties
of their own. Scorpio may have been ruthless, but he was no fool. He ordered
Jinxer to send the remaining troops, as well as his generals and himself to
the Zedd Dimension so they could regroup. In the Zedd Dimension, time moved
much slower than in our own. Using an ancient stone key, Jinxer opened up the
portal. Scorpio laughed ruefully at Queen Xenia telling her that he would
return in 3,000 years to conquer the earth with double the amount of stone
soldiers trained under the best generals in the galaxy. With those final
words, the Saima army left Earth with the firm resolve to return.

Queen Xenia was greatly disturbed by Scorpio's remarks. When the Saima
returned in 3,000 years she and her Amazons would not be around to protect the
Earth. She summoned the twins Alla and Bella as well as her most trusted
advisors to discuss the options. Minerva was the lead military advisor. No one
understood the strengths and weaknesses of Schieten and the other generals
than her. Diana was in charge of production of goods and services. She made
sure that no one wasted valuable resources. Castra was a very important
figure. She was the sorceress of the Amazons. With their respected lieutenants
Gabrielle, Callisto, and Medea, these three went to advise the queen.

All three agreed that the Saima would return and far deadlier. But what could
be done? The argued for hours, until Castra suggested a very unorthodox idea.
She had a spell that put all of the Amazons into a magical sleep. In this
sleep, their bodies would be at rest, but their minds would be alert in their
dreams. They could rest up physically and wait for the Saima to return. Xenia
agreed, but thought there must be some Amazons left to preserve the Amazon
bloodline. She ordered that all of the elderly and middle aged as well as all
children under the age of 16 go into the world and make sure that the Amazons
do not become extinct. They were to become a part of society to make sure that
they would have blood relatives 3,000 years from now. Xenia ordered Castra to
make another spell. This one would create a calling in all Amazon blood line
when the Samia came back to help with the fighting. Xenia knew that this time
she would need reinforcements to fight Scorpio this time. Castra would put the
remaining 10,000 Amazons to sleep.

When word came out there was mixed reaction among the Amazons. Some like
Andromache thought it was unwise to leave their kin unprotected. Xanthippe
thought it was foolish to sleep away for thousands of years. Others like
Atalanta were in favor in order to destroy the Samia once and for all. The
most happy of the choice was Somna. Somna was the laziest of all the Amazons
and loved nothing more than to sleep and nap all day long, much to the chagrin
of her sisters. Still in the end, they all agreed that they must sleep in
order to wait for the Saima. But another question arose, where would sleep for
all these years. Amazons snored very loudly when they slept and 3,000 years of
snoring would attract attention. Xenia chose a large cave to be their bedroom
for the next 3,000 years. After building the large two beds on the opposite
sides of the cave (as well as Xenia's own with the twins) The Amazons got
ready for Castra to create the sleeping spell. Before the fell asleep,
everyone laughed at the sight of Somna already happily snoring away before the
spell even began.

Over the next 3,000 years, Queen Xenia and her 10,000 Amazons slept soundly.
During the day time, the Amazons were preparing for the Saima attack in their
dreams. The way the spell worked, all 10,000 were dreaming the same dream and
were able to communicate with each other. At night the Amazons were so
exhausted from training that they actually slept in their dreams. It was in at
this time of the day that their snoring sounded like an earthquake. But, there
was no questions from the outside world because the cave the Amazons slept in
was near modern day Los Angeles and the natives simply thought it was the
plates shifting.

Each of Xenia's advisors were in charge of several thousand Amazons. Minerva
was in command of the fighting battalion. These Amazons were among the
strongest and were always peak physical form. Among the strongest of the
Amazons were Herclea, Valerina, and the sisters Ilia and Lamia. Their bodies
were pure muscle and these warriors were proud of there bodies, always doing
everything in the nude. Minerva boasted that since her Amazons wore no
clothes, they consumed less resources.

This was pleasing to Diana, because she was in charge of creating weapons and
supplies. Clothes were not am important factor because Amazons only wore thong
bikinis at the most. Anything more would be too constricting for the body.
Diana knew that the Saima would have an enormous war machine at their disposal
when they returned. Her group was always hard at work preparing the goods
necessary for victory. Diana entrusted the most important jobs to Arachne,
Thetis, and Semele. Thetis was hard at work creating a special sword for Xenia
made from gold, iron, and steel. Since they were often sitting, these Amazons
only wore thongs. Although the Amazons were sleeping while making their goods,
Castra's magic made it possible for them to become real in the material world.

As for Castra herself, she was in charge of the rest of the Amazons. Those
under her charge were generally the cooks, scribes, singers, poets, and
recorders of Amazonian history. Among them were the singer Selene who
beautiful singing lulled her fellow Amazons into a happy sleep, Iole the
wonderful poet, Penelope the talented scribe and Nidia the beautiful dancer.
Castra's charges helped with the everyday duties in Amazon life and their
services were no longer needed since they were all asleep. These Amazons
trained to fight under Minerva and work for Diana, but not with the same
intensity as the others. Also under Castra's care was Somna. Castra had a soft
spot for her innocence and often let her sleep away in a corner while she
herself devised new spells to combat the Saima. Her gentle snoring provided
the inspiration to make these complex spells. Castra's charges were fully
clothed in the standard Amazon thong bikini.

As Queen Xenia, she saw the day-to-day operations in the dream world. She also
was training to become a better warrior under the training of Alla and Bella.
While her subjects slept in the dream world, Xenia stayed awake keeping vigil.
She was the only

Amazon who did not let her mind rest with her body for one day the Saima would
return.

Indeed the day was soon at hand.

Part II: The Awakening

And so it went on for 3,000 years. If a traveler made the destination, they
would hardly believe their eyes. There it was 10,000 women fast asleep
sprawling all over each others bodies. Each of their faces in rest showed
their personalities. On Minerva's face, on could see an intense look. Diana's
face was apparently thinking of how many supplies to make for the army. Castra
was almost sleeping as softly and happily as Somna herself. Yet finally the
day to awaken came. The Saima were ready to return to Earth. Castra's sleep
spell was devised to awaken the Amazons two months in advance of the Saima's
arrival. That way they would be ready to greet their descendents when their
calling brought them to the cavern.

Queen Xenia awoke first. Opening her eyes, Xenia looked at all of her subjects
fast asleep. It brought a smile to her face to see them all peaceful. She
first awoke her advisors Minerva, Diana, and Castra and the twins Alla and
Bella. They went on t awaken the other Amazons. They were all glad to be awake
again except of course for Somna who just wanted a few more minutes. But there
was no more time left. The Saima would soon arrive, and they had to welcome
their descendents.

The first to arrive was Jane Carter. Jane like many other young women was
unsure of what to do with her life. Jane moved to Los Angeles in the hopes of
becoming an actress, but she only found work in menial labor that did nothing
to challenge her. Suddenly, she had this feeling brought on her. This feeling
told her to go to the mountains

outside the city limits. When Jane got there, an opening suddenly rose up. The
opening to a stairway that led to the hall of the Amazons. It was there that
Jane Carter's life changed forever.

Queen Xenia welcomed Jane with a smile. She calmly explained the situation
with the Saima Army. Xenia secretly feared that the Amazon descendents would
not understand or believe what they heard when their instinct kicked in, but
she underestimated it. Jane immediately understood that fighting the Saima was
her purpose in life. Her iron will and determination would show her as the
direct descendent of Queen Xenia herself. This formed a close bond between the
two. Soon after, more and more descendents of the Amazons came to the cave
with the same instinct.

Each of the Amazon's descendents bore some resemblance, both physical and
mental, with their blood relatives. The kin of the twins Alla and Bella were
the also twin sisters Sherri and Terry Carmichael. The Carmichael twins were
childhood friends of Jane, and acted in the same way for her as their
relatives were to the Queen. Minerva's kin was Erica Rutger a bodybuilder with
a physique that rivaled Minerva's. Donna Smythe was related to Diana and used
to the same wise decision making in her job as the owner of a greeting card
shop. Like Castra her ancestor, Brenda Fisher used her mind for good and
became a gynecologist. Even Somna's relative was like her. Brooke Welsh loved
nothing more than just sleeping away. The two were kindred spirits form the
start.

When all 10,000 of the Amazon's bloodline came to the lair, Queen Xenia sat
them all down and explained the situation. The Saima were coming in one month,
and they were the only ones that could stop them. Everyone immediately
understood the gravity of the situation and agreed to help the Amazons fight.
The Amazon blood in them was very strong. Training would begin immediately.
Fortunately, they were quick and eager learners. One thing that Xenia demanded
was that the women dress as the Amazons do. Although a little hesitant at
first, Xenia explained that to be the best warriors, Amazons wore little to no
clothing for the least conformity. The women did as so with one third going
nude, another third in just thongs, and the rest in the standard thong bikini.
Jane herself wore only a thong.

The training went long and hard for a month. Under Minerva, the women learned
the ways of war. With Diana they built supplies. And with Castra they learned
the basics of Magic. Even at night when they slept, they were training in
their dreams just like their ancestors. Early on, the question arose about
what would happen when their families questioned where they were. Castra
explained that her spell worked so that no one would remember the women until
they returned home. With no worries about their loved ones, the Amazons and
the women were ready to fight the Saima.

Indeed the day came when the portal from the Zedd Dimension opened up again.
In all of his glory there stood Scorpio. He had a evil look in his eye. 3,000
years had passed. With the Amazons no longer around, who could stop him and
his evil army from conquering the world. The Saima army was now twice as
strong than before with double the amount of stone warriors. The generals had
worked long and hard to train these new troops. Nothing could go wrong.
Scorpio nearly had a heart attack when he saw Queen Xenia, and 20,000 other
Amazons waiting for him. Was all that preparation all for nothing?

Once again the Saima and Amazons were locked in a battle. The fighting was
once again one-sided in favor for the Amazons. Each of Xenia's advisors fought
with Scorpio's generals, while Xenia bought Scorpio directly. The stone
warriors were clearly outmatched by the combined forces of the Amazons and
their kin. Jane never felt so alive before when she fought the Saima. It was
Jane who saved the day when she noticed the magician Jinxer with the stone
key. Scorpio ordered him to reopen the gate to the Zedd Dimension. That key
was the only thing that could open or close the gate. Without it, the Saima
would be stuck there forever, Once the gate was reopened, and Scorpio and his
generals got in it, Jane acted quickly. She took the key from Jinxer and
tossed it to Xenia.

With a mighty swing from the sword forged by Thetis, Xenia destroyed the key.
Scorpio looked in horror as the key was destroyed. Without it, what was left
of his army and he himself were stuck in the Zedd Dimension for all of
eternity. The Amazons had finally won once and for all.

Part III: Epilogue

When the Amazons returned to their lair with their descendents, there was much
rejoicing. The Saima was finally vanquished for good. Suddenly, someone asked
what they would do now. The world had changed a great deal in 3,000 years,
could the Amazons become a part of the new world? Jane spoke for the
descendents when she said that they wanted to bond with their ancestors now
that there was peace. They did not want to go back to their old lives. As long
as they were with the Amazons, their families would not think about them.
Still what would they do? They found there answer from Somna and her kin
Brooke. While the rest argued, the two decided to take a nap and were sleeping
away with great smiles on their faces. Xenia decided that Castra would create
another sleeping spell. All 20,000 agreed in unison. Although the Amazons had
slept for all these years, they were never truly rested since they were in
training. They were tired. Their kin were also tired too and wanted to be
beside their relatives. The great beds that were built were made to fit twice
as many bodies. Somna and Brooke made a happy snoring sound as if they heard
the plan.

Everyone piled on the great beds. On one side there were now 10,000 sleeping
bodies and another 10,000 on the other. Each of the Amazons slept right next
to their kin. Minerva snored loudly and happily naked with Erica. Diana and
Donna slept side by side in only thongs. Castra and Brenda slumbered together
away in thong bikinis. On all of their faces their was a sense of happiness
and accomplishment. Jane and the others were proud to be Amazons. They were
proud to be strong and to wear bikinis with no problem and even proud to
snore. Snoring showed the strength that the Amazons had and they wanted to
sleep with them for eternity. This would be like a long slumber party.

The Amazons were now a even more amazing sight to see. On two opposite sides,
there were two great beds holding 10,000 Amazons each. What would a explorer
think when they saw thousands of beautiful, sleeping women in only bikinis
snoring away happily. They probably wouldn't say anything because they could
not get into the lair without Castra's magic and she was right now in a deep
slumber using Brenda's stomach as a pillow. Not that they could wake them if
they wanted to. These Amazons were heavy sleepers. If was joked that if an
Amazon wasn't woken up by her own snoring, nothing would wake her. These women
worked hard and slept hard.

Before when the Amazons slept, they were preparing for a battle and were not
really at rest. Now they were far more relaxed. The snoring they made was far
more relaxed and happier. Some like Selene were actually singing in their
sleep. Others like the warrior Herclea snored just as loudly before. But all
were more serene. In their dreams, the Amazons were with their descendents
lounging around in the greatest of comfort. There was no threat to worry
about. Castra's spell was designed to wear off once the Amazons no longer felt
like sleeping. But that would probably not happen for another 3,000 years.

Before Queen Xenia went to sleep herself, she went to look at her subjects.
She was proud of all of them. They had fought bravely fighting the Saima and
now it was their time to rest. Jane was looking at the Amazon descendents in
the same fashion as Xenia. Soon the two kin yawned and got ready to go to
sleep themselves. The two went into the bed between the 20,000 sleepers
Flanked by their respective twin assistants who were already slumbering away.
Xenia and Jane closed their eyes and started to snore. The only noise that
would be heard in this cave for a very long time would be the snoring of
20,000 string, beautiful, and brave women.
